Desolation Sound Resort opened in 1997 as the dream of a German couple, and has since then seen guests from all over the world come to enjoy these beautiful chalets and the picturesque wilderness setting.
Each of our unique chalets was constructed by local craftsmen with local wood, creating custom designs with a west coast flair. Many of the chalets have unique and intricate wooden inlays in the walls and floors.
The chalets are of varying sizes, and some of them can accommodate up to eight guests, making Desolation Sound Resort the ideal location for family reunions, summer vacations, retreats, and more!
